Laura Nixon is looking forward to being the treasurer this year! She just started a new job as the school nurse at Alderson Elementary School in LISD. Laura is going on her 16th year as a nurse, but this kind of nursing is a whole new challenge for her! Her and her husband just celebrated their tenth anniversary in August, and have two boys, Asher, who is seven, and Noah, their four-year-old. Her family is constantly busy with little league sports, and they love cheering on the Red Raiders whenever they can! Laura is a member of the evening group of Bible Study Fellowship and is a sustainer in the Junior League. Laura and her husband are also very involved in the American Cancer Society's Cattle Barons Committee.
